
Meet the Business Owners

Shelly Malur has planned more than 200 itineraries and has taken more than 2,000 people to all corners of the world. She has organized and led groups to Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Croatia, Cuba, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Guatemala, Haiti, Holland, Hong Kong, Italy, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, the UAE, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, and yearly to Oxford University. She has more than 25 years of experience working in travelling abroad. Most of the trips she has organized and led have been for students, but she has also taken political leaders abroad on government and trade missions and has also led trips for rugby, football, and soccer enthusiasts.
Shelly is the mother of twins and lives in Northern VA.

Steve ‘Duma’ Johnson fell into rugby at the University of Kansas while playing 7’s in the summer of 1987. He moved to Huntsville RFC and then up to Washington Irish RFC D1 team. After 9 years with the Irish, he moved to Denver to play for the Highlanders RFC. Over the next 8 years he was a player, 7’s coach, club president, tournament organizer and an Eastern Rockies RFU select side player for the union. He moved back to DC and has been playing 7’s and 15’s while coaching tots, youth, and adults in all codes of rugby. His favorite rugby memory is touring and playing friendly matches in the UK and being asked by a regional pro team near Limerick to a one game professional contract. Having a USAR Level 100 referee and a pending level 300 Coach and will attend the Crusader High Performance Coaching Camp in May 2023.
He is currently the Washington Irish Interim D1 and D3 Head Coach, Assistant Women’s Coach at Alexandria City Titans (Formerly TC William), Head Tackle Coach at Alexandria Youth, Owner of RugbyTots Washington DC and DumaTech Rugby Institute. Recently, he started teaching after school enrichment rugby courses at two elementary schools around Georgetown.
