Awards
An Open Tour organized and led by Neal Henderson and Shelly Malur (Front Row Rugby Tours), to Havana, Cuba, in January 2017, was nominated for a Peace and Sports award, in the Diplomatic Action of the Year, patronaged by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
This game (pictured above) brought together Cuban and American players, the latter represented by the Wild Geese of the Washington DC metro area, as well as several Americans from the local US embassy.
The Game for Peace Match played with the Rugby Sin Fronteras (Rugby Without Borders) team was nominated. Front Row Rugby Tours and all who participated are proud of the nomination honor.
